Bears are an important part of the Ute Culture. Standing Bear is found on a large slanted boulder near the Colorado River in Utah. Walking Bear comes from the same Petroglyph-covered boulder. Both images were most likely created by the same artist. This type of paw-print-as-paw motif is unique.
