This superb Petroglyph of a flute player relaxing in the sun is from the now flooded junction of the San Juan River and Piute Canyon. It is 350 feet below the surface of Lake Powell. Piute Canyon was used for centuries by Native Cultures as a travel route to the San Juan. Petroglyphs were located in many places at the canyon's half-mile wide mouth.
