This is a close-up of the upper half of a Barrier Canyon Style Shaman that is far up a remote canyon in Central Utah. In full, this eerie Pictograph is over 6-feet tall and is part of a large, elaborate composition containing many fantastic creatures, painted 3000 - 6000 thousand years ago. The 2 circles with the curved extensions are thought to be birds. Dedicated to the memory of our great pal Morris Wolf. Wolf was a one-of-a-kind character whom we miss very much. No one knew the San Rafael area like Wolf did. No one was more generous, or told a better story. And even after his passing we are still tracking down panels he had told us about.
